Å IBENIK ARCHIPELAGO

The Šibenik archipelago consists of 249 islands, islets and overcrowks totaling 157 km. Six islands are permanently inhabited and there are 6600 inhabitants today: Kornati, Zlarin, Prvic, Kaprije, Žirje, Obonjan, Kakan, Krapanj and Murter.

Needless to say, these little islands make marvelous getaways if you’re looking for a rustic vacation experience. The six inhabited islands are linked by daily Jadrolinija ferries, a drawbridge and a boat.

National Park KORNATI

The Kornati archipelago – a labyrinth of stone, with eighty nine islands, islets and rocks in the sea. It is the most indented island group in the Mediterranean.

Regardless of whether you look at the Kornati Islands from the air, from the sea, or from sightseeing points on the islands, the view is equally impressive – and yet different to the eye every single time.

National Park KRKA

The national park is a vast and primarily unaltered area of exceptional natural value, including one or more preserved or insignificantly altered ecosystems. The purpose of the park is primarily to serve science, culture, education and recreation, while tourism activities have also been introduced for its visitors.

With its seven waterfalls and a total drop in altitude of 242 m, the Krka is a natural and karst phenomenon. The travertine waterfalls of the Krka River are the fundamental phenomenon of this river.
